About the channel
Faceless stories, one lantern
A YouTube channel of stick-figure survival stories.
What this is
The Copper Lantern makes survival stories and what-if guides in a flat cartoon style. There is no face on camera. The star is a small round-headed stick figure in a green hoodie who carries a lantern into the dark.
The channel has 17 public long-form videos so far, from zombie outbreaks and hard winters to being lost at sea, alone in the Amazon, or living through a medieval year.
How the videos are grouped
- Zombie survival: Outbreaks, winters and the first hundred days: stick-figure guides to the end of the world.
- Survival stories: Lost at sea, alone in the Amazon, a dead power grid, a medieval village: survival told as a story.
- Career and other: Other lives in stick-figure form: a 911 dispatcher's shift and the life of a medieval king.
How often
A new story goes up as often as production allows. The best way to catch it is to subscribe on YouTube.
